London Investment Flows 2026 – September
London’s investment story in 2026 is one of renewed momentum.
Our new London Investment Flows 2026 research report examines why global capital and businesses continue to choose the city, how its investment market is evolving and what London must do next to remain competitive.
The evidence points to a market moving forward. Central London attracted £7.4bn of investment during the first half of 2026 – 14 per cent higher than during the same period in 2025 – while 58 per cent of investors surveyed favoured London over other global cities.
Innovation is helping drive that confidence. AI-related office leasing exceeded 815,000 sq ft in the first half of 2026, compared with 211,000 sq ft across the whole of 2025. London also ranks sixth globally for innovation output and second for talent concentration, reinforcing its position as Europe’s leading technology centre.
The report explores the depth and diversity of capital flowing into London, renewed demand across offices and living, and the transparency and liquidity that become even more valuable during periods of uncertainty.
It also highlights the challenges London must address. Accelerating the delivery of housing, infrastructure, clean energy and investable projects will be critical to converting investor confidence into inclusive, sustainable growth.
Developed with insight from JLL and Polygon Place Strategy, London Investment Flows 2026 provides an evidence-led case for why London – and why now.
