The transformation of Brent Cross is being led by Barnet Council and delivered through multiple public-private partnerships. The ambitious place leadership programme has a shared mission to deliver economic growth and improve the quality of life for existing residents, while ensuring the evolving Barnet community reflects and enhances the unique character of the area and creates opportunities for everyone.
The Brent Cross Cricklewood programme is Barnet Council’s largest regeneration initiative, transforming an underused industrial area into significant new housing, improved public realm, community facilities, and transport connectivity within and beyond the area.
The project at Brent Cross Town is gaining significant momentum with the recent opening of the mainline train station, Brent Cross West, with connections to Central London (St Pancras International train terminal) in as little as 12 minutes and links to two of London’s airports (Luton and Gatwick). Further opportunities and developments in the wider Brent Cross area are expected in the investment pipeline.
