Canada Water

Canada Water is a 53-acre mixed-use development in Zone 2; a new town centre for central London benefiting from outstanding transport connections via the Jubilee and Windrush lines, and with the Elizabeth Line just one stop away.

Surrounded by over 130 acres of parks and waterfront, Canada Water has been designed with sustainability at its heart, with a low-carbon, all-electric strategy to create a highly energy-efficient neighbourhood, and a 67% environmental net gain across the development.

British Land and AustralianSuper are working in partnership with Southwark Council to deliver around 3,000 new homes, approximately 2 million sq ft of workspace, and 1 million sq ft of retail, leisure, cultural and educational space, alongside 12 acres of new public realm including a 3.5-acre park and a new town square the size of Leicester Square. It is strategically positioned to attract higher education anchors with opportunities for innovative research and development investment.
